Vulcan Painters Inc. is a proud sponsor of Vulcan® AfterTunes 2008 at Vulcan Park and Museum. We support the museum's goal of educating visitors about the industrial history of Birmingham and the production of iron and steel. As a company specializing in prevention of corrosion in steel structures and all types of metal products, we support this unique park and its cast iron statue of our company namesake.
Birmingham's unique musical event returns to Red Mountain this fall. On Sunday, September 28th, Vulcan® Park and Museum will kick off its fourth year of Vulcan® AfterTunes, a concert series featuring local and national singer/songwriter acts featured on Reg's Coffee House, a weekly radio show played on Birmingham’s first and only AAA Hybrid radio station, WWMM - Live 100.5 FM. Concerts will take place at 3 p.m. on select Sundays - September 28, October 12, and 26. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 - 12, and free for children 4 and under and Vulcan members. Ticket price includes live music, and admission to Vulcan’s Outdoor Observation Balcony and Museum. Tickets and seating are first-come, first served. Light snacks, beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase. No pets or outside alcohol allowed.
