Vulcan Painters, Inc. is a painting contracting firm specializing in commercial and industrial painting projects, and blasting and coating structural steel and pipe. Our work includes paper mill maintenance during shutdowns. We paint stadiums, power plants, college buildings, hospitals, churches and historic landmarks. Our projects are large and small—we paint the auto plant and we also paint auto parts. We paint floors and coat sewer pipe, and we are MSHA certified to work in mines. Headquartered in Bessemer, Alabama, we're the 12th largest painting contractor in the nation, according to Engineering News Record, and one of only a few painting contractors to earn ISO certification.
Vulcan Painters is the oldest of the companies under the Vulcan Group umbrella. Our pre-job meeting organizes manpower and equipment and sets the schedule. We consistently use the newest useful technology to accomplish our task, whether it is automated systems for the inner diameter of cast iron pipe for sewer, or a closed containment system controlling overspray on a busy street. When the technology did not exist, we developed it!
