Vulcan Painters, Inc., Named Top 3 Finalist in Award for Safest Finishing Companies for 2nd Year by FCA
Vulcan Painters, Inc., has been recognized by FCA International, and finished as a CREST Top 3 Finalist as one of the safest contractors in North America in the construction industry for 2021 in the 50,001-100,000 hours category.
The Finishing Contractors Association (FCA International), lives by its commitment to improve our industry by continuing to “Educate, Advocate, and Legislate” on behalf of signatory contractors. They look at factors of specific safety measures and data to recognize contractors through their CREST Awards. The mission of the CREST (Contractors Recognizing Excellence in Safety Training) is ultimately to recognize contractors who go above and beyond to protect their employees and the people around them.
We are humbled in receiving this prestigious award. As an internationally recognized leader in construction health and safety, it puts us that much closer in achieving a world class safety program. We will accomplish this goal through our core values in safety and continuous training of management as well as our employees.
Our safety policy was developed and has matured as the demands for safety are constantly increasing. From the CEO to the first day employee, we use available resources like industry specific classes, online courses, union training, in-house training, and regulatory standards to ensure that they have the most up to date training. There are yearly refresher courses that are required that promotes a positive environment when it comes to safety.
